Our speaker for Apple is not able to come, so the meeting will focus on the events/announcements from the January Macworld Conference in San Francisco. During this Expo Apple released two new PowerBooks (which will no longer boot into MacOS 9), the new Safari web browser, the new Keynote presentation application, and updated its iApps suite.

Please park near Burns tower, and enter on the east side of Weber Hall.

More About the Workshops

These workshops are designed to give individual help with using a variety of programs and are especially intended for beginners. Topics vary with the need of the participants. There are usually enough computers for hands-on instruction. Topics include the Macintosh system, internet access, and specific software.

Please call Connie at 474-8508 before the meeting if you are interested in old Macintosh and Apple II systems or software.

Remember to bring disks if you want to copy Public Domain software or shareware.
