Wireless Connectivity

Using Apple's Airport

Presented by Rodney Cordova

Rodney Cordova will show us how to set up a wireless Intranet so that your high speed connection to the Internet can be used on all your home or work computers at once. Find out how to connect several Macs and/or PCs to each other using Apple's Airport technology.

Rodney is a Mac Specialist and will be available to answer any other questions that you may have. Please come to see what he has to offer to the Mac user.

Instructions to reach MACDADDY:

Take 99 south to Briggsmore Ave.
Turn left over the freeway.
The first street just after going over the freeway (with light) is Orangeburg.
Turn right onto W. Orangeburg.
Turn right on McHenry.
MACDADDY Computers is on the right about 500 ft.

Meeting is in the school building in the room to the left of the entrance, nearest Ben Holt drive.

More About the Workshops

These workshops are designed to give individual help with using a variety of programs and are especially intended for beginners. Topics vary with the need of the participants. There are usually enough computers for hands-on instruction. Topics include the Macintosh system, internet access, and specific software.

Please call Connie at 474-8508 before the meeting if you are interested in old Macintosh and Apple II systems or software.


Remember to bring disks if you want to copy Public Domain software or shareware.
