At 6 p.m. Connie will lead us in a discussion of books and magazines that are available for the Macintosh (iMac & G3, G4 as well as older models). Please bring your favorite magazine or book to share. Also, let us know which ones are not helpful.
At 7 p.m. co-author Bruce Fries will present his book, The Mp3 and Internet Audio Handbook: Your Guide to the Digital Music Revolution. Join him as he cuts through the hype and confusion surrounding MP3 and digital music on the Internet. | |

These workshops are designed to give individual help with using a variety of programs and are especially intended for beginners. Topics vary with the need of the participants. There are usually enough computers for hands-on instruction. Topics include the Macintosh system, internet access, and specific software. Please call Connie at 474-8508 before the meeting if you are interested in old Macintosh and Apple II systems or software. Remember to bring disks if you want to copy Public Domain software or shareware. |
