SAUG will have an organizational meeting on Thursday, March 3rd at 5:30 pm in the library of Marie Callenders on March Lane in Stockton. If you are at all interested in seeing this club continue, we could use your input. Please come even if you will be late. We need to discuss future events, meeting places, and why only about 5 people show up at the meetings. . If you know of a place that would be able to host us (even occasionally) let me know. A place with Macs with OSX is preferable but not always necessary. If you cannot come, but can be of any assistance in these areas please email me your ideas. These workshops are designed to give individual help with using a variety of programs and are especially intended for beginners. Topics vary with the need of the participants. There are usually enough computers for hands-on instruction. Topics include the Macintosh system, internet access, and specific software. Please call Connie at 474-8508 before the meeting if you are interested in old Macintosh and Apple II systems or software. Remember to bring disks if you want to copy Public Domain software or shareware. |
